Rest in Peace Steve

Steve Jobs died today at the age of 56, his recent public step down from CEO of apple corporation came after a battle with cancer. The apple website released the following statement "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences, please email rememberingsteve@apple.com"

as one geek I will miss the vision the man gave to the world

  2. As a nitpicker, he was actually 56, but still quite sad to hear. I never realized he was younger than my parents. I guess those later years just took a toll on him, leaving him so underweight. Rest in peace.

  3. This guys going to be remembered for a very, very long time as a creative genius who's going to be much missed. It's a sad day for Apple, and for all of us in fact. :(

  5. man...lots of posts about him today...i guess i feel good that i posted something different today, instead of saying RIP and "what a great guy," I pointed out how he's a scam artist and a ghoul.
Hopefully he runs into all the Chinese workers who killed themselves at his apple factory.
