Stories

One of my favorite things about pen and paper gaming is the stories that stick with you forever. When you play a game over the course of years with friends the absurd, awesome and plain amazing situations that crop up become a common source of nostalgia for your group. My group has been meeting since we were in college nearly 10 years ago and naturally we have some stories to tell.

whats your favorite gaming memory, if you don't play D&D whats a story you and your friends tell over and over and still get a chuckle out of every time you hear it?

  1. My old school friends and I are constantly always utilising all these private jokes from the past with each other that no one else in the world would find funny but I won't share them. Some of my favourite memories were playing GTA IV with my buddies on X-box Live though. Would be interested in hearing some of your favourite gaming memories if you want to post them buddy.

  2. I once seperated from the group in a cavern and got attacked by a ghoul and almost died after one attack! Everyone laughed at me about it for days after.

  3. Playing GTA IV with friends on xbox live going in 6 star police pursuit for hours; yelling out lines from movies while doing all sorts of stupid things. greatest quote was running from police in a helicopter and got hit in the tail and me and my friend zac started yelling out "black hawk down" until we died.

  4. Me and a couple of buddies of mine used to smoke a lot of weed and one day we decided to climb a tree in this local park and smoke. Man it was so fresh in that tree, so much oxygen, it was zen like. Anyways people would be walking by and we would make like these crazy bird noises and shake the branches like there was a huge bird in the tree. People would look and get freaked out and we would laugh our asses off. Pretty soon they totally trimmed all the leaves on the tree so we couldn't do that anymore. But me and my friends still laugh about that to this day.
